hi ~ if you look back through the threads you will find this has been asked recently.

Hi Tigerjoe, Saburngirl is quite right, but incase your not too familiar with all this yet, i have tried twice, once with seed (unsucessful) and again with a small seedling i bought from the carnary islands while on holiday, - this is going back a few years, growing it on was fairly easy. you basically treat them a bit like a fucsia or geranium, lots of light not too much water, regular feeding, outside on the patio during the summer, inside during the winter. it takes approx 7 years before they flower, but when they do - well worth the wait - check out Diohio's pics. they do grow quickly so they will need potting up every spring. you can buy them quite easierly now in the UK as young plants, and as i said they are easy to bring on. check out mail order and online companies. hope this helps
