While I love Carole's enthusiasm and enjoyed the plants I found tonight's programme a bit self-indulgent. Of course, that's only my opinion which I don't expect anyone to share. Perhaps I've got odd taste.

She travelled around the country in an old Sunbeam Alpine reminiscing and visiting her favourite plantspeople. Roy Lancaster first - one of my favourites, Crugs Farm nursery in Snowdonia, a walk in a wild flower meadow with a botanist? and a few others I can't remember. Oh, and a visit to her home in Bolton and her first garden in London. Not sure why.

WHY don't they put the names of the plants up on the screen like they used to? I can't write them down fast enough when I am trying to watch the next bit!

I read in Amateur gardening mag that it starts again on the 3rd April, and it will no longer be at Berryfields.
They will be moving to a new location in Birmingham.

Have just watched my recording of Carol's programme. The places were interesting and the other people but it was all a bit 'gushing'. Maybe that's because I'm a Yorkshire native!
