Mock Orange shrub leaves are discolored

Shrub is growing next to the house and the leaves are discolored this year. Could the cold winter cause this?

Oh, that does look like frost damage. Did you get hard frosts this winter?
I've been surprised at what has been damag over here,, Daisy. My Euonymus 'Emerald 'n' Gold' which is hardy has its tips affected!
Wait a while and then after it has flowered, prune out the damage. If you do it now, you'll lose the flowers.
