Hi everyone, can you tell me whether I should cut down to the ground my leucanthemums, I have four plants which have been lovely, and don't want to lose them through the winter. Many thanks

I expect that's the difference between north and south!

I normally cut off the flowered stems down to where the plants have made new growth, but as I gather that yours are new, I think it might be wise to leave the stems until spring, as a little protection from severe weather - as you do with some other perennials.
