I know they are potted in compost but beware bringing plants into the UK in soil - its not allowed because of contamination - or it used to be so. I shall have a look on t'interweb for you. Have had a look and it says there are few restrictions bringing in plants from the EU but it is a bit obscure as regard licences etc. So take a chance. They are lovely but they are selling the same in local garden centres for between £5 and £7.

There is no problem bringing plants back into the UK from other countries within the EU. I have been on a couple of organised holidays to France and the itinerary made stops at Plant Centres on the final day to make purchases.

they look like chrysanthemums. usually hardy when grown in england. depends on how warm it is there and how cold it is here. but they can be kept in a cool conservatory.
