Can anyone id this for me, please? Guy selling it was at least honest and said he didn't know what it was, just that it was a half hardy "pianta grassa" (succulent)

It's hard to see the structure of the stems and leaves clearly in that picture.

It looks awfully like my Sedum cauticola 'Coca Cola' with green leaves.

Not sure its S. cauticola, the leaves don't seem to be quite the right shape. These just look to be oval - are they, Gattina?

You are right Bamboo...the more I look at it the more I see them being an oval shape.
I did go out and have a look before I posted too. Sorry Gattina, I got your hopes up :(
