Sadly, some Hebes aren't hardy in the UK. It looks as though the one in the photo is in a Nursery or a GC. Make sure you read the label carefully if you decide to buy one, won't you!

Well there was no label on it Spritzhenry..I was just attracted to the colour and they were full of butterflies.I brought it from France and now I'm not sure what to do with it.I think I will google it.Thanks everyone:)

You may be best keeping it in a tub so that you can protect it if the weather gets very bad. It would look lovely during winter in a tub anyway. This type of Hebe often succumbs to the cold and damp but should do better in a pot against a sunny wall or in an open porch.

Hebes do seem to root easily, don't they. I took about a dozen cuttings from the Hebe I had to remove because most of it had died, and they've all taken. :-)
