This year i planted leeks (from plants) for the first time. The crop started well, but were soon 'stripped', then proceeded to rot off.
My questions are; Could the stripping could be due to mice and Would white rot have caused the rotting? Also, how should i proceed next year ( i have bought seeds this time.)

Hi Jenny and welcome to GoY - your problem with stripping is more likely to be slugs than mice. No idea on the rot though.
