Sorry to come up with something different, but I have been out and picked a leaf off my three viburnums and my skimmias and I would say it is one of the female skimmias. The flowers are very white as yours are and the viburnum flowers have a definate pinky tinge to them. The leaf is exactly like the skimmia. I could be wrong!

my skimmia have a wider leaf and are 'thicker'/leathery.
I would go with viburnum as my tinus doesnt have a pinky tinge :o(
