Are the bulbs from salvia plants worth saving and re-planting

Answers

Erm, are you sure you mean salvia - only they're not bulbs?

Some produce a tuber a bit like a dahlia. and yes they are worth saving as they have a food store for growth next year. Like dahlias they need to be kept dry and frost free.

I've stored S.gaurantica "Black and Blue" successfully the last couple of winters. I've lifted my S.patens too this year.
