Leaf damage to new lawn

We had a new lawn last year and while we cleared most leaves over the winter (3 large sycamores) we have been left with bare patches where some leaves remained. Will the grass grow back or does it need reseeding/turfing?

What I would do is to rake the bald areas to create a tilth and then sow more grass seed there - cover it with chicken wire or the birds will gobble it! Water it if the weather stays dry. It will soon germinate (if this warmer weather comes!)
