My garden is being taken over with wild bluebells, how do I get rid of them?

When I moved into my house over 15 years ago we had a handful of wil bluebells, we liked them so have just let them grow. However they have now taken over our chipped path around the house and spread onto the borders.

try your local freecycle group - I recently passed on some unwanted strawbs this way. Freecycle is gr8 for loads of stuff, some quite quirky.

You will have to dig very deep to get them out - they go along way down - as I found out when I tried to move some

I would say weedkill the bluebells with sodium chlorate on you bark paths. The rest you will have to dig out.
