tub flowers

my mother has lots of tubs in the garden growing weeds. she cannot get to them to weed them, what plants will cover the soil and be pretty with no maintainance? i like pebble idea but mum loves flowers

Hi Susan,
Buy some bags of large pebbles, place on top of the soil in your Mum's tubs round the plants. This will control weeds and stop the tubs drying out.
