Just remember that an overdose (of many things!) is easily fatal, and many preparations aren't well standardized!

I certainly would not advise anyone to take such...

Many years ago, I worked for a hospital that was the home base for the local poison control center. While I was chatting with the people who answered the phones there, they opined that about one quarter of the cases that they dealt with involved herbal home remedies, or ritual potions. About three quarters of those were fatal. Obviously, I don't advise it either!

I thought Tantra sex depended on the male being able to hold on ... at will, under control, and without herbal aids!! It is all about loving self-control whichever way you look at it ... if he needs a herb to help, find another man, or educate him about it!! Plants/medicines can provide a short-term answer - you/he needs to look to the long term affects and effects within your relationship, and remember you are part of that process too!!

Dear Friend,
Bhramadandi is very mush a tantrik plant as per old sidha as well sama veda books, but as on date there is a lot of doubts over which plant is a real bhramadandi.
as told by one of our friend Bulbaholic , //Brahma-dandi, Argemone mexicana or Prickley Poppy, is used as a herbal medicine for a number of applications such as a cure for skin ailments and as a sex tonic// Brahma-dandi cant be Argemone mexicana, as it is originally from mexico, and not available in India during olden days, bhrama dandi was very much available in India, also i dont see any reference of bhramadandi for sex urges or needs... lol.. he is trying out something else.

dear One. we generally do not reject or accept any herb/thought/say/and so on in indian tantra shastras.
definitely there are preposterous and absurd things you will find in some cheap tantra books regarding the uses and applications of bramhadandi or other herbs.it does not make them a thing to through away. one can easily sort out the nonsense and sensible writtings and can use the herb for well being of mankind.
I will suggest that instead of rejecting the herb by remarking it as absurd it can be tried and applied under proper guidance regarding doses , side-effects and benefits.
cut short the tantrik way. use the herbs with proper know-how .
I can only say at this moment that Brhamdandi is a remarkable herb if used properly.
