I was given a pyramid bay tree last birthday which I potted up about two weeks ago with new compost. Now the leaves have gone very brittle with a brown mottling speading from the edges to the centre. I have picked off a couple of caterpillers but the damage looks to extensive for them to be the problem. I also moved it to the sunny side of the garden. Any ideas?
