If you sow Delphinium now, indoors, then they should flower this year. They are perennial, so will regrow each year.
Foxgloves will germinate but all you will get is leaves this year - so something to sow in summer with a view of seeing the flowers next summer.

Snag with wanting any flowers for a specific day is that the plants do not oblige. For example delphiniums flower from June to September but there is no guarantee you will have any in flower for a specific date. This is why florists charge so much.

we have figured that out MG. we wont be depending on anything in particular. just trying to have as may options as possible. Rosies colours may be purple to white but if the red peonies are open there in...lol thankfully shes very relaxed about the whole thing and knows it will be what it will be..:-)

You might have better success buying plants form a GC, at least they will already be established and therefore more likely to flower this year. I wouldn't expect seed of delphinium sown this year to be in flower by June. Have you considered annuals and lavender?

Liatris is tall, normally purple or white fluffy flowers. As a bulb they should be tall and flowering within wedding date.
As moon growe has said, you can buy Foxglove and Delphinium from GCs, so they should flower this year. Pinks and plants like Wisteria should be flowering in those colours around June. If you plant Alliums around now they may still be in flower in June.
If you have Delphinium seeds, then if sown now and kept inside till May in a sunny window then they should flower this year - doing them any later than about now and putting them out too early will delay flowering till next year...I did it last year.

Never grown delphiniums, but foxgloves are usually biennials.
