I have had a Trachelospermum Jasminoides for about 3 years. The leaves look like it is being eaten by something. Does anyone know what might be wrong with it.

I agree with Andy. Is it a chillean potato tree? Solanum is a huge range, but if it has purple/blue flowers it could be this. Spray with rose clear. You may find under the leaves some 'scale' aphids - little lumps of red/brown. If you do you have a fussy job spraying under each leaf, but ... it is the only way and it always works#!!

Thanks guys. Yes after looking it up it is a solanum. It does have purple flowers. I will spray in with a bug spray and hope it recovers. It does still flower but it clearly looks poorly .

Or try Provado Ultimate Bug killer. This gets inside the plant and lurks waiting for something to nibble it! Be sure to spray the tips as this looks like the kind of bug that damages the embryonic leaves.

Rose clear may sound wierd, Tralamander, but it is anti-bug and anti-disease. If the infection is purely insect caused then ultimate bug killer works wonders on all the multitude of bugs, but if someone doesn't know the cause then rose clear is a good all rounder to start off with. :-)

It doesn't look like Trachelospermum to me...more like a solanum. Looks like the plant has a virus...possibly caused by aphids ?
