Can I use ash from my wood burner on the garden?

Flower gardens too, where the potash in it will help produce more and larger blooms. Avoid acid lovers, though, such as heather and rhododendrons--ash can be quite alkaline.

So long as it is purely wood ash and you haven't been burning wood that had paint on it yes you can spread a thin layer across your vegetable garden.
