hi all ,i planted some crocuses last september ,but theres not any sign of them should they be showing through by now ? cheers pete (they are under the lawn )

Answers
I would have expected some sign of them by now, Pete, but be patient. If you planted the large flowered 'Dutch' crocus they are slightly later than the chrysanthus varieties.

They will be quite hard to see in the grass until the flowers are almost out, so they may already be lurking there to surprise you, waiting for some nice mild sunny days.

I hope you get a nice surprise soon Pete, but I have trouble growing crocuses as the squirrels just LOVE them.

I put another 2 dozen in in the autumn and have been having the same thoughts Pete! Just watching and waiting. The sparrows are devils for the gold coloured ones, which usually come first.
