it makes now difference. I tend to lie them on their side with the 'scar' facing into the middle of the pot. In nature the seed will land anyway up and grow any way.

Its interesting to grow some on damp tissue and you can see how the root and shoot simply curve around to face the way they want to go.

Doesn't matter. The roots will grow down and the shoots will grow up, cos of plant hormones.
