What is the best thing to do with our Campsis which has partially died
By Roserouge
France
We live in southern France and were really proud of the 3 year old Campsis growing over our pergola, giving shade and superb blooms in the summer. This spring it seems that most of the plant has mysteriously died, with just two stems producing new leaves. Should we cut out the dead stems, or get rid of the entire plant and start again with something else?

Try scraping the stems and if they are green in the middle it should come back, any stems that are not grenn and are brittle cut away, and leave just the green stems, if it is all brittle dig it out and start again.with a new plant.
