I am so glad that spring is just around the corner, its one of my favourite times of the year. Watching my little babies in the garden emerge from the long dark winter and start to do there magic just simply amazes me, I am so lucky to have a gorgeous garden that never fails to put a smile on my face and I am itching to get out there and start adding to my beautiful plants. I have a long list of new additions to plant this year and I cant wait to get started...

There is still plenty to do at this time of year even if it is a bit early for planting tender things. It's a good time to divide hardy herbaceous perennials or plant new shrubs or trees. Also, you can clear away old debris and mulch ready for emerging shoots to grow through.

Oh, I know that feeling! The weather here has been unusually benign for a while now, so everything is coming on nicely, hopefully not too soon for their own good.
Happy gardening!
