I have just installed a trellis of willow behind a picket fence

Can anyone please suggest a possible list of evergreen climbers to cover the trellis. It is willow and so I am looking for a plant that will not get too woody and break the trellis.

I would have to say this beauty Terry http://www.gardeningexpress.co.uk/ProductDetails.asp?ProductID=1899
And the perfume is so nice to have in the garden.

Clematis Armandii is a super plant. Also the Coral Plant ( Berberidopsis corallina) would do a lovely job. You could also consider the Hederas but they do get a bit lively, lol.

The Clematis cirrhosa group are not too heavy, or too vigorous - they are evergreen and flower in late autumn to spring.
How much sun does it get and is it a sheltered area?
