Any suggestions on how my neighbour and I can separate our front garden without planting anything too high?

box hedging you can keep that as low as you want and it wont hurt to much if you fall on it.

Thanx for all your help - like the idea of the box hedge, it gets very sunny at the front - is that ok?

Nearby us neighbours have a short dividing hedge of Lavender Hidcote between the two driveways. Beautiful each summer.

The lavender would need more work to keep short than the box I think and if not pruned enough starts to look straggly

yes box is the better neater option i think

Box is also slower growing and seems to withstand being crushed, lol!!!
