I have a plant ladder with 5 x 9cm pots, I currently have a flat parsley in one of the pots, but I'm stuck as to what to put in the other 4 as the containers are pretty small... I'd like to stick to herbs/veg/edible stuff if possible. The ladder is mounted on a south-facing wall. Anyone have any ideas?

Arugala; green onions; oregano; tarragon; marjorum; lemon, lime, or Thai basil; baby bok choy; 'Little Finger' or 'Tonda di Parigi' carrots; curry plant?

Thanks for the quick replies! Will they all be ok in 9cm pots? I thought that most of those would need something bigger.

Ouch! Sorry, but I misread the question as 9 inch pots! It would be hard to do anything other than succulents--Sedum, Sempervivum, etc.--in a pot 9 cm wide, especially on a south-facing wall.

Chives? Thyme ( can be pretty as well as useful)? Garlic - some good little plants in GCs now? Radish? Lettuce?
Those are things I would grow and use. I'm sure there will be other suggestions.
