Is Brushwood screening any good? I have at the back of my garden a 3ft slotted concrete fence with a 3ft wood panel fence above it which is starting to fall apart so i thought i would smarten it up with something cheap for now.

NO, it's dreadful stuff! Save your money and go for something longer lasting. Mine has all blown away in under 2 years. The wires that were supposed to hold it together started rusting and were falling to bits really quickly, then the brushwood was blown all over the garden and surrounding countryside.
My strong recommendation is to use something else.

the split bamboo on a roll is far better and lasts much longer .

I agree that the bamboo itself looks tougher than the brushwood, but it's still held together by wires that rust quickly.

I'll have a look how much the bamboo is then thanks, it's just a quick fix for now until either later in the year or next year and i'll replace the whole fencing..
Thanks everyone :-)

i must admit the wire is what makes the bamboo fail thow if you put a lot of staples in as i have round my pond it should last a good 10 years . mine is getting brittle and falling apart a bit after 12-14 years .
