I agree they're both Camellias - lovely aren't they? Burncoose nurseries sell 150 varieties - maybe you can identify which ones you have here -

Lovely camelias.....hav'nt seen the white/yellow one before reminds me of a fried egg!!!

I bought one called Jury's yellow a couple of years ago, but it turned its toes up PDQ - had a sort of blight I think. Someone told me they're a more susceptible variety. Don't think this is one though - JY is more double.

I have 3 camelias 1 large bush its palepink but unknown name.
It always delights me with blooms.
I have Moshe Dayan its white its never bloomed it seems to have buds this year but its leaves are yellowing.
My latest to garden is Yultide coming in to bud now
