Dahlia Tubors
A friends husband stored her Dahlia tubors in a basin and just dumped them in the corner of the shed.
They are now all covered in moss....is there anything she can do or are they a lost cause?
The later of course will cause him a lot of domestic strife :))

There is nothing to dig them out of K...he just dug them out the border and put them in a basin!
But I'll tell her to give them a feel.
Thank you

if they were dug and left in the soil which will probably have dried out. then they may well be ok. especially if the shed was frost free.
gently remove the soil and if you have firm tubers then plant up in compost and all is good.
if soft then gc as Kildermorie says.

Give them a feel. If they are turgid then they will be fine, rotting then time to go to a GC. The moss is a worry as they grow in damp conditions...
