hi there,
i have a question to ask for my garden, mu front lawn and back lawn, there is moss growing and weeds growing in the lawn, it was in beautifull condition up until now.
How do i maintain it in a good condition ?
How often do i need to put grass food?

If you want detailed info on how to maintain a lawn, get yourself a copy of D. G. Hessayon's The Lawn Expert - its not very expensive, and you might even find a copy in the library or second hand via Amazon or Ebay. Older copies may recommend chemical treatments which have now been withdrawn though, but otherwise still full of useful information.

Also be certain to mow often enough. If you are mowing at 5 cm high, don't let the grass grow more than 8 cm high before mowing.

The simplest short term solution is to apply a proprietary brand of combined Moss Kill Weed and Feed. The instructions on the packet will guide you as to quantities and frequency of application and what to do afterwards.
If you want a longer term solution, you would have to rake out moss, dig out weeds and spike the lawn all over with a garden fork to give it more breathing space, before applying a lawn improver.
