can you have too many worms in a compost heap

Answers

No, you can't have too many. When the compost heap or container is at the right stage worms move in and breed, then when their food is all used up and composted they move on or die out. Cycle of life & all that. A good, active compost heap can have lots and lots! Be pleased that it's working correctly.
