Can anyone Identify this prickly plant for me, it doesn't flower.

Yes, Gattina, it is a alchemilla mollis in the back ground, I love the way water stays on the leaves in droplets.
The prickly plant just appeared, had it there a few years, it doesn't flower and attacks me when weeding and so on, I have dug it out now and hope it doesn't re-appear. I did like the leaf though.

It looks a bit like a rogue blackberry that's undergone an interesting transformation to me. A mutant? I was getting thrown by the bits in the background which I now see are possibly alchemilla mollis - am I right? Has this just sprung up in your garden or is it a plant you've got in a pot from somewhere?
