Every year I grow toms and cu's in 10.5 tall pots, with 10.5 ins diameter tops. but I wonder what is the smallest pot I could use ?

Many thanks, I rather thought that was the answer, I'd better buy a dozen more and scrap my bright idea.

That would be about my minimum for bringing to fruit Hank. They are both heavy feeders and need a good base. Some hydroponics expert on here may be able to tell you differently but for normal compost growing and feeding I wouldn't go any smaller.
