I'm looking to buy a purple leaf sand cherry tree ' prunus x cistena' but I can't seem to find anyone who stocks them. Any idea where I might purchase one please?

Prunus cistena is commonly available, particularly online. McClarens, GardenBestBuy, Hedges Direct are 3 I saw from a quick peruse via Google. Most garden centres stock it usually.

You can also check out Plant Finder on the RHS website to see if there are any nurseries in your area that stock it. Failing that, any good Garden Centre should be able to order one for you

I tried hedges direct and they stock the shrub for hedges but I wanted the tree :(
I looked on shoot, which I do use but u need to upgrade to see who supplies this.
I've been around all my local garden centres and none of them stock them as they said they are the Japanese dwarf variety.
I love cherry blossom trees but chose this variety as its not to big for the garden. I'll have to keep looking or chose another type.
