I have some daffodils with multi heads on a single stem. Are these aliens?

or it could be the variety. Or are you saying they were 'normal' last year?

Could they be the Tazetta type of Narcissus?

Thankyou, all of you. I'm a bit dissappointed really that everything is 'normal', I thought I had a freak, an unknown pretty one at that.
I'll be watching it carefully next year......Traciejane

There are several daffodils that have more than one bloom on the stem. Tete-a-tete is the most common example of a dwarf one. Many of the Triandrus hybrids have two or more flowers per stem including Hawera, Ice Wings and Liberty Bells. As already mentioned so do several of the Tazettas including Falconet and Highfield Beauty.

Some of my daffs are exactly yhe same. Just sit back and enjoy them while they last.
This weather is already affecting mine, and so not long left if it carries on at this rate.

Not at all, not uncommon, particularly the first time they flower, i.e., they were new bulbs planted last year.
