can i re-use last years peat compost and how do i fertilize ? please i realise used peat will be poor but,how do peat compost maker,who must use fresh peat wi.th few nutrients suitable for baskets.how is the peat fertilezed?

I wouldn't re-use compost but put it on the garden. It won't have many neutrients left in it and may contain weevils in the old pots. It's quite cheap to buy nowadays.
