When do i prune / trim my Camellia please ?

Answers

Camellias rarely need pruning other than to remove dead or damaged wood and general tidying up.

If required this should be done after flowering!

I agree with Teegee above.Just thinking of trimming my one that runs out of bloom first, then the rest. You just shape them really. However, if a mature one has gone into a very undesirable shape or height you can cut it back drastically. Feed the shrub and fuss it a bit more and make sure they have water in July/August, and a reshaped one will recover. My brother did a hatchet job on his Camellia by the front door and it is back blooming better then ever.
