I have planted some carrot seeds in some see cells not thinking and they are spouting will I be able to transplant them or is it bin time

Hi Steve, if you can manage to plant them with all the soil around them from the cell they could well take. You've obviously discovered that carrot seed needs to be planted in situ in a very fine tilth, preferably sandy soil. (It is why so many carrots are grown near the coast in Moray.)
