Give it a trim as well , help stops it loosing moisture through its leaves as the new roots get away into the soil

Do your self a favour and wrap in a old blanket and tie with string before you start digging it out it will make it much easier and less harmful for you I dread what the neighbours will think as you put it into a car LOL though
