Hi All Should A Camelia in a pot be grown in ericacous compost, your knowledge would be much appreciated.

Hi yes it should it likes acid conditions and hates lime which Multi purpose and John Innes has , but I did read a Which report years ago saying that lime in compost used in a pot is soon washed out with watering !!
Plus they did a test all the camelias looked the same nice and green and healthy I done that with blueberys I grew as I was too lazy to go the garden centre and they are growing realy well in pots and had berries on last year
