Lawn care advice please

Can anybody recommend the best lawn weed and feed etc. I have about 100 sqm and need to start showing it some TLC. I have aerated and scarified but have quite a few different weeds (elder and one with pretty purple flowers!) in lawn and with numerous lawn products out there I would like some advice from the experts!! Also I have dug a few weeds up which has left bare patches and holes in lawn. Is there a weed killer suitable for use on grass? Appreciate any replies

I would echo what Bamboo said.
My only comment would be that many granular weed and feeds do not kill all weeds. Lesser trefoil is one that the weed and feeds I've used won't touch.
To kill the difficult weeds I water on or spot spray on the selective weed killer Verdone Extra which kills broadleaf weeds but not grass.

Brilliant, thanks very much. Verdone ordered!

If you have bare patches, you may need to reseed those - the trouble is, you can't reseed once you've applied a lawn treatment such as Evergreen Weed, Feed and Mosskiller. As you've such a large area, its your choice whether you think applying a liquid lawn weedkiller with a can, and then applying a feed separately, is too time consuming (seems like it is to me) so one of the granular weed and feed treatments (such as the Evergreen one mentioned) might be best. You will need to wait 6 weeks after application before sowing seed though. Note that granular treatments come in two varieties - Weed and Feed, or Weed, Feed and Mosskiller. all need to be applied not less than 4 days after the lawn was cut, and on a fine day with little wind, when the blades of grass are dry. If it doesn't rain within 48 hours, you will need to water the lawn yourself to wash it in, but check the timings on the label. Not sure that's a problem in your area, don't know whether you're subject to a drought order currently.
