Hi there,
I'm looking for a climber that will tolerate shade,
is self clinging,
is evergreen [or semi]
lots of lovely flowers !
I know I'm not asking much..
but I figure you experienced
gardeners are the best people to ask - the most
important factor ,I think, would be the shade tolerance.
Many thanks, hope you can help

Hydrangea petiolaris is happy in shade and has lovely big white flowers. It is self clinging but it is not evergreen but in time the shape of the branches will cover a lot of the wall. It is slow growing or rather can be slow to get started sometimes and then romps away.
It is worth a place on the list anyhow. A lovely plant.
