what the best way to plant Onopordum(Giant scotch thistle) from seed

On plant Onopordum

Answers

Best is to put the seeds into seed trays and let them germinate there then transplant them to where you want them. They are tall things - about 30 cm wide at base and over 1m tall. If you plant the seeds in a bed there is high risk that you will remove them as weeds - I always do, esp when growing as they look so weed like.
