It is suppose to grow to 6 feet-I am afraid my impulse buy was a mistake. How/where to put it to thrive?

Moon grower is right about the space it takes up - there is a speciment at Barnsdale - Geoff Hamilton's garden - about eight ft tall and at least as much across, absolutely magnificent.

Hi Tami Paeonia delavayi can grow up to 6 ft. but 4 - 5 ft. is more normal with us. It also takes up a lot of space as it can be 6 - 8 ft. wide. If you enter the name of the shrub in the search facility on GoY you will see dozens of pix. It is fully hardy and likes partial sun. Of course you can prune it gently in autumn to keep it from getting overgrown.
