will this plant re grow from old wood. I have pruned other shrubs around it and the bottom of this plant now looks rather leggy. I was wondering now it has more light, will it re grow from the bottom

I managed to kill mine by cutting it right back after it collapsed under snow and split near the base - a case of kill or cure I think.

Should do, hun. They can take quite a battering.
I recently chopped mine down so hard there was nothing but wood showing and I wasn't exactly careful what I chopped off. There are now hundreds of new shoots coming all along every bit of wood.
