I recently asked a question about my Acanthus Mollis not flowering after 3 years. I have just dug it up as I'm redoing the border its in. Those GOY gardeners who have it , is it worth replanting. As I can see the roots could be invasive. Thanks .

I've got one in my tiny garden - up against the brick shed and it is beautiful, especially when it flowers but yes it is rather invasive. I just keep chopping it back and digging out roots once in a while.

Its lovely if it has a space where it can keep itself to itself or in a wild garden or woodland area but I wouldn't have it in a mixed border

It is invasive, and once established, virtually impossible to eradicate, Pdb.
