What fertelizer can I use for my grape , I have been told you can use tomato feed , is that correct ?

I have two grape plants in containers and growing well in there third year . What feterlizer can I use . Tomato feed ?

Tomato food feeds the fruit not the leaf so it certainly won'tdo any harm. It is also beneficial to continually prune back all but 2 or 3 shoots per stem.

You need Nitrogen and phosphates. A long term fertilizer for your grapes would be Blood, Fish and bone.

Tomato feed fertilizer contains high Potash which is blended to encourage flowers and produce fruit. So, yes, it is very good to feed it, usually once a fortnight til it stops producing fruit (ie when the grapes are picked)
