Tulip Bushes

Does anyone know anything about "Tulip Bushes"? I saw a few of them last week, they look a bit like Dogwoods, onlyl they are mainly very flowery and look like tulips on a bush. I'd love to plant one, but don't know much about them. Thanks!

Hi, Thanks so much for answering my question. I looked in two local garden shops this weekend, and didn't see anything like them. They were planted in front of some newly renovated Town homes, otherwise I'd never seen them before.
I'll have to do a little more research on them. Again, many thanks!

Hmm. I have heard magnolia trees/bushes referred to as tulip trees before. There are a lot of them planted around here in nature preserves and public gardens. Very beautiful indeed! I am zone 5. I don't know if this is what you are referring to or not. I may just be ignorant of an actual tulip bush.
