Which clematis ??

As you can gather from our many questions, we have moved to a new address and are trying to establish a small flowerbed.
We have a very shaded spot, is there a clematis that would thrive there, ? we can trellis it to about 6 feet high.

I reckon that C. montana is too vigorous if you only have 6' height. I know you can tie it in, but I agree with Rydeboy - not very suitable for a shady area.
Nelly is good, so is 'Guernsey Cream'. Either would do well.

Clematis montana are about the best for shady areas, though I don't know about very shady areas..
It probably won't flower as well as it should.
