I planted some coriander yesterday; by this morning it's leaves had all been eaten. I have a small urban garden. What could have eaten it??

Slugs and snails are by far the most likely culprits, unless you have a neighbour who loves curries! Put some black plastic sheet down on the ground near the plants and look under it during the day, and you will probably find a lot of slugs or snails hiding there. You can then pick them up and dispose of them.
