Aphids on Acers
By Rednana

I have three acers which were planted about three years ago. This year they have been severely attacked by aphids and I have lost one of them. Another I think can be saved, but there are not many leaves on it. Do you think it will recover by next year, or is there something I need to do now to save it?

Acers are quite strong so if you can manage the aphids you should be ok. Try spraying with a weak solution of washing up liquid or alternatively planting some anuals near by which will attrack the aphids away from your Acers?
